A United Front in Humanitarian Response
As we mark the one-year anniversary of the Irish Emergency Alliance’s intensified efforts following devastating global crises, we pause to reflect on the strides we've made together. Born out of a shared commitment to humanitarian action, our coalition of seven leading Irish INGOs has navigated through the aftermath of unprecedented challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, conflicts, droughts, and the earthquakes that struck Turkey and Syria.
In this year of unparalleled adversity, our collective action has raised over €6.25 million, a testament to our proven model of agile, effective, and cost-efficient responses. Our member organisations—Action Aid, Christian Aid, Plan International, Self Help Africa, Tearfund, Trócaire, and World Vision Ireland—have been at the forefront, embodying our shared mission across 85 countries.
