OUR EMERGENCY RESPONSE

A powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake has struck Myanmar impacting millions of people across the region. Homes have collapsed. Schools are in ruins. And families are now facing the terrifying aftermath with nowhere safe to turn. Many have lost everything.

Myanmar was already facing a severe humanitarian crisis with a third of the population in need of aid. Now the situation is catastrophic.

Irish Emergency Alliance member agencies are already responding in the worst hit parts of Myanmar and bringing life-saving essentials to those who need it most. But we can’t reach everyone without your help.

In times like these, your compassion and generosity can bring light to a very dark moment. You can remind people that even in the midst of horrendous disaster they are not alone.

About the Irish Emergency Alliance
